The Tiguan is remarkably efficient, returning 34mpg combined in the thirstiest 2.0 TSI 4MOTION trim and 40.4mpg in the 1.5 TSI R-Line DSG. The best economy and refinement are offered by the eHybrid which kicks out 245PS.
Practicality
Space for the family is a given. The Tiguan has a sliding rear seat bench, offering up 615-litres of boot space with the rear seats forward, or 520-litres with the rear seats back. The plug-in hybrid has 476-litres of boot space.
